课堂设计指导思想：
Task是两课时完成的，由于课时特点，在第一课时通常是输入部分——听读来获取信息，第二课时常以输出为主—说写来完成任务。在这个单元中让学生对他人提建议，先听再读，知道怎么去获取相关的有用的信息。
Teaching aims:
Help students listen for specific information.
Help students read for detailed information.
Teaching procedures:
Step 1 Skills building 1 listening for specific information
First, ask one of the students to make an order in a restaurant, then get students to tell which he really wants.
【设计说明】通过一个小插曲来到入听细节很能吸引学生的注意。从而得出听细节的一些建议。有了这些建议，完成第一个听力。听力内容比较多也较难，所以建议听2-3遍，让大多数学生能跟得上。
Step 2 Step 1 : completing a training schedule
Ask students to guess the meaning of the words before listening. After listening check the answers.
【设计说明】通过猜测词汇帮助学生扫清听力的障碍，能更好完成任务，听两遍式是最起码的。
Step 3 Skills building 2 making suggestions
Ask students to read and find the relevant information.
【设计说明】通过上下文来学习词汇，并鼓励学生给所学词汇下定义，一方面，有助于培养学生在语境中学习词汇的策略；另一方面，有助于培养学生猜词的能力，为学生提高阅读技巧、提升综合语言运用能力铺设平台。
Step 4 Fill in the blanks
Let students fill in the blanks in a speech (part C), using the words learned in the last 2 sections.
【设计说明】简单的语境设置，检测学生对所学内容语义层面的掌握。
Step 5 Classification and consolidation
Classify the words learned in different categories. Ask students to make up sentences, using as many of these words as possible.
【设计说明】通过词汇的分类内化学生分类记忆词汇的策略。通过开放式的造句促进学生在语用层面掌握所学的词汇。
Step 6 Role-play
Show students a short video from a classic movie. Let students imitate the actor and actress. Encourage Ss to say the lines in a more creative way.
【设计说明】说台词是戏剧表演的一个重要组成部分，通过模仿经典台词，为学生提供具体的体验机会，有助于学生对戏剧表演艺术的了解。模仿的过程生动而有趣，有利于激发学生的学习热情和兴趣。同时，对于经典台词的品鉴也有助于学生文学素养的培养，促进他们对文学作品的爱好。
Step 7 Summary
The teacher will present a short summary, using all the words learned in the word power section.
【设计说明】教师通过总结所学词汇，为学生完成课后作业提供范例。在总结中，教师提出“人生亦舞台”，同时对学生寄予了“微笑面对人生，做自己人生的导演”的期望。这是对词汇学习人文层面的提升，同时也激励学生树立正确积极的人生观与价值观。
Step 8 Homework
Ask students to write a short story containing all the words learned in this section. Encourage students to find more idioms related to smiling and laughing.
【设计说明】通过家庭作业再次巩固所学内容。同时，鼓励学生利用网络等有效学习资源了解更多有关戏剧的知识。
