Step 1. Using language- listening
Ss are asked to discuss the questions “What things do you think were unfair in South Africa?” to find out the listening points first, then listen to the tape three times to choose the best answers and answer the two questions.
Ask the Ss pay much attention to these important points while listening. And tell them to take notes like this:

Finish exercises 2\3 on P38
Step 2. Listening
Ss turn to page 69 and listen to the tape. Before they listen, ask them to read the statements in part 1 first.
Listen to the tape again to finish EXX2-3.
Step 3. Listening task
First listening: Ss turn to page 72 and try to tell which one is true and why in part 1.
Ss listen again ,answer questions in part 2 and complete the tables of part 3.
After listening: if time permits, ask two Ss to answer the question:
Who do you think caused the accident?
