Cyber language is especially popular among students. They think it is fashionable and convenient to use cyber language to communicate. However, the popularity of cyber language has aroused widespread concern among teachers. They worry that cyber language would bring negative impact on the use of Chinese. Besides, some parents also complain that it is difficult for them to understand their children when they use cyber language in real life.
I don’t think it can affect my use of Chinese. I think we should take an open mind to cyber language. But it should be noted that such mind is based on the respect for language.
